![]() ![]() In fact the code I used for Lion DiskMaker 3b2 did not use createinstallmedia at all. And… it almost worked, though a bit convulated. As I began to work on Lion DiskMaker X 3 / DiskMaker X, I did not try to use Apple’s command before it went under the radar (no pun intended), so I developed my own code to build the disk. Though this is not my direct responsibility but a bug in Apple’s tool, I feel bad for having this major problem slipped. I really apologize for this bug, as I should have ensured to perform more rigorous testing. Which may be painful for some of you.Īn easier way would be to have a 10.7 or 10.8 machine around and build the install disk with DiskMaker X from this machine. Of course, this means that you WON’T be able to perform a clean install of 10.9 straight.
